The average inspection will take approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If the home is older the process will take a bit longer. And yes, please try to come to the inspection towards the end of the inspection period. That way the inspector will have had enough time to go through everything. Then the inspector will walk you through the property, point out items that are important to focus on, items to make note of and to keep an eye on. The inspector will also answer any questions you may have also.
